From a QR on your counter to a customer who comes back
Five stages, and you are only involved in the first one.
- 01
You set the programme
Choose how many stamps and what they win, then print the table card with your join QR on it. Add your colour and your logo so the customer card looks like your shop rather than like software. Five minutes, once.
- 02
A customer joins at the counter
They point their camera at the QR, put in a name and a mobile number, and their card opens. No app, no account, no password. If they have no usable phone on them, staff can create the card for them and look it up later by the last four digits.

Staff give a stamp
Scanning their card is the fast path. When that is awkward, the till shows 4 characters they type into their own card: single use, 3 minutes, and 3 wrong tries kills it. Every stamp records who gave it, where and when.

The card fills, and the reward is obvious
At one stamp from the reward, an email goes out on its own. When the card is full it turns into a full-screen reward state your staff can recognise from the other side of a counter, and marking it used takes one tap.

The quiet work happens without you
A regular goes quiet past their own usual rhythm and a win-back goes out. Somebody fills a card but doesn't come back for it, and a reminder that it's waiting goes out. Birthday week and a treat goes out, with a code so you see who claimed it. After a first visit, a one-tap review request. On a hot morning, a draft offer waits for you to press send. You look at one dashboard screen when you feel like it.
When the wifi dies
Which it will, on the Saturday you can least afford it.
The staff device is a progressive web app. It carries on scanning cards with no connection, saves each stamp on the phone with the time it happened, and shows a plain banner so staff know what is going on. When the signal comes back it syncs, tells them how many went through, and cannot double-stamp anyone on a retry.
It also keeps a small pocket of pre-issued claim codes, so the code path still works while the shop is offline even though the customer’s own phone may have signal when yours does not.
What we never do
Two promises that shape most of the decisions above.
- We never put Regulars on the card. The customer’s relationship is with your shop. Our name belongs on your invoice, not on their screen.
- We never screen reviews by sentiment. Everyone gets the same one-tap Google link. Asking “how did we do?” first and only forwarding the happy answers is review gating: it breaks Google’s policies and it makes your public rating a lie.
Questions about the flow
What do staff actually have to do?
Sign into a shared phone once at the start of a shift with a four-digit PIN, then either scan a customer's card or tap a button to show a four-character code. That is the entire job.
What happens when the internet goes down?
The staff device keeps taking stamps and stores them on the phone. When the connection comes back they sync automatically, timed to when they actually happened, so the busiest hour of your week is still recorded as the busiest hour of your week.
How do customers redeem a reward?
Their card switches to a full-screen reward state that is obvious across a counter. Staff mark it used from the same device they stamp with, or look the customer up by the last four digits of their number.
